RAAF WW2 ERA FLIGHT BOOTS

Before been restored for display…

These boots – 1936 pattern flying style are made from brown leather.
The upper section of each boot features an adjustment strap, which is fastened by a buckle. The inside upper portion of the boot is lined with natural cream coloured lambs wool.
Inside each boot is a pair of leather pull tabs, one carrying the maker’s stamp, ‘MADE BY BEDGGOOD MELBOURNE, AUSTRALIA’, and the other printed with, ‘SIZE 9 FITTING 6’.

Around the ankle of each is a brown leather strap, held in place under the sole, and fastened by a black coloured metal buckle. The brown leather soles are marked with maker’s name, ‘BEDGGOOD’ and an dunlop imprint in the black rubber soles.
